Working Hours and Pay

Working a minimum of 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, plus overtime with an average of 50 hours per week (overnight stays will be required). £15.85 per hour.

About the job

We have excellent opportunities for a Class 2 (Cat. C) driver to become part of our operation, committed to providing a first-class service to our customers. This opportunity is based out of our sites at South Normanton and Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire and the successful candidate will report to the Transport Manager.

Responsibilities

  • The successful applicant will be delivering to warehouses and retail hubs throughout the Country with 1‑5 drops per day.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years Cat. C experience
  • Reasonable geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Good understanding of Drivers Hours and WTD regulations
  • Must be over the age of 25 and have a full clean driving license
  • Experience driving a (Cat. C) vehicle with a valid Driver’s Card and Drivers CPC is essential
  • Excellent attendance & timekeeping record
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Pleasant, positive and helpful manner
