Whiteland Engineering Ltd is a family-run engineering business with a long-standing reputation for quality, reliability and looking after our team. We’re growing and looking for an experienced CNC machinist to join our friendly and supportive workshop in beautiful North Devon
What you’ll be doing:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Manufacturing high-precision components to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out quality checks and maintaining production documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving
- Working as part of a close-knit, skilled engineering team
- Programming, setting and operating experience
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling and materials
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Experience with Hurco, XYZ or Siemens controls would be highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach and pride in producing quality work
