Chief Financial Officer (London Area)

Our client is looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a rapidly expanding IT recruitment firm. As a key member of our executive team, the CFO will play a critical role in driving our financial strategy, managing international teams, and guiding the company through an exit within the next five years. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives and exit plan.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, identify key growth opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to support decision-making.
• Drive budget planning, forecasting, and financial modelling to optimize resource allocation and ensure financial stability.
• Lead and oversee international finance operations, including financial reporting, compliance, tax planning, and treasury management.
• Ensure adherence to global accounting standards and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate closely with international teams to streamline processes, optimize cash flow, and mitigate financial risks.
• Provide expert guidance and financial leadership to prepare the company for a successful exit within the next five years.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, financial analysis, and valuation exercises to maximize shareholder value.
• Collaborate with legal, investment banking, and external advisors to navigate the exit process efficiently.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.
• Foster effective cross-functional collaboration with other departments to drive operational efficiency and achieve business goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role within the IT industry.
• Strong track record in driving financial performance, strategic planning, and international finance management.
• Expertise in forecasting, budget planning, financial modelling, and data analysis.
• Experience guiding a business through an exit process and working with legal and investment banking partners.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
