Overview
SAP Procurement (P2P) Business Analyst (BBBH64970) β London, England. This role sits within the finance department, focusing on the Groupβs S/4 Programme. It primarily supports the S/4 P2P workstream but may assist with O2C and other streams as needed and supports all Business Units of the business.
The role will participate in the design, testing, training and rollout of the future S/4 platform, particularly in P2P and specifically Procurement and Materials Management. The analyst will participate in Agile teams and help design and implement efficient, controlled processes, interfaces and reports. The role requires experience defining business processes, identifying requirements and translating them into solutions, justifying developments, supporting data migration, and acting as the link between users, stakeholders, consultants and developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define business processes in collaboration with business users; create process documentation (Signavio flow-charts and other documents).
- Facilitate and support design decisions; provide input to Controls and Authorisations teams.
- Work with Business Owners, Product Owners and BU representatives to collect, understand and document business requirements and translate them into functional system specifications; communicate with project configuration and development teams.
- Review solution design proposals to ensure requirements are understood and met.
- Consider data requirements of new processes and perform data migration activities (cleansing, harmonisation, enrichment, transformation, mapping, load and reconcile) for SAP transition projects.
- Prepare and/or review system testing plans, scripts and results to ensure comprehensive testing of business processes and requirements.
- Conduct testing and coordinate global user acceptance testing; summarize progress, results and issues.
- Coordinate and deliver project workshops across multiple time zones.
- Prepare and/or review training documentation and user guides; deliver end-user process and system training (in person or via webinar).
- Participate in Change Management activities to ensure go-live success and adoption of new processes and systems.
- Provide post go-live support and BAU support; proactively identify issues and work with colleagues to define, document, test and train solutions.
- Ad hoc duties as required by the Programme, P2P Business Owner or P2P Product Owner.
- The role is based at Group headquarters in London, with up to 50% international travel to support Group businesses worldwide; flexible hours and remote/MS Teams support may be required.
Essential Skills and Experience
- SAP S/4HANA β Purchasing and Materials Management (MM) modules
- SAP S/4HANA β Accounts Payable (FICO) modules
- SAP S/4HANA β Business Partners
- Procurement process design and system configuration of MM
- System testing and end-user training (documentation & delivery)
- Minimum 3 years SAP project experience covering 1 full lifecycle multi-location project; practical experience with S/4HANA
- Ability to summarise and communicate key issues/themes to stakeholders
- Highly organised, proactive; self-starter
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills; accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure
- Intermediate+ Excel, PowerPoint and Visio skills
