Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Network Engineer – SC Cleared.
You will be working on a client site, in collaboration with Client Project Managers, SMEs and Architects to deliver projects on time and above customer expectation.
- You will be working closely with support teams and other functions to ensure seamless integration of project work to the Run service.
- Undertaking a range of equipment installations and configuration activities for complex or high business impact solutions.
- Performing infrastructure surveys, wired and wireless.
- Get involved in office moves, adds, changes.
- Perform technical refresh of network hardware and cabling.
- Performing impact assessments on large or complex networks.
- Performing testing to predetermined plans and analyse results.
Expected to have undertaken other Network Engineering roles for at least 5 years.
- Have demonstrable experience of configuring Network systems, switching, routing, firewalling, load balancing and voice.
- Will typically be qualified to Cisco CCNA level or vendor equivalent accreditations.
- Will be able to demonstrate knowledge of networks including network security, virtual private networking (VPN), converged networks and broadband technologies.
- Will have the ability to install, configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Voice network infrastructures for enterprise organisations.
- Understand racking, cabling and containment systems and standards.
