Whitehall Resources require a Security Architect to work with a key client on a 6 month initial contract. Note: This role will involve on site work in Manchester 3 days per week. Inside IR35.
Responsibilities
- Develop end to end security architecture for POC, MVP and production rollout.
- Define secure user journeys for remote password reset and identity verification.
- Ensure alignment to enterprise security standards, compliance and threat modelling outputs.
- Produce architecture artefacts (HLD, LLD, patterns, data flows, integration specs).
- Guide engineers during build and validate controls in testing.
- Strong background in IAM, MFA, IDV, and secure authentication flows.
- Knowledge of biometric verification platforms (Onfido).
- Experience producing high quality architectural documentation.
- Security architecture certification (SABSA, CISSP, ISSAP or equivalent).
- Experience with privacy-preserving identity approaches.
- DevSecOps alignment and API security knowledge.
