Whitehall Resources require a Business Process Mapper to work with a key client on a 6 month initial contract. This role will require on site work in Macclesfield or Luton 3 days per week.
You will be a key member of the Process Excellence team, driving the introduction and use of business process methods and tools to ensure the success of the design, implementation and use of business processes on major projects including SAP S/4HANA. You will bring experience of business process execution and problem solving to support transformational change. Able to work with a network of stakeholders to inform requirements and change impacts, develop a forward plan and drive plan delivery.

What you’ll do:
- Acting as a member of the Centre of Process Excellence team, this role will help to drive SAP S/4HANA process design with a view to supporting process excellence initiatives across the business.
- Contribute to the improvement of a process excellence methodology and standards to align people, process, data and technology.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure processes are maintained and improved in line with established standards across the project landscape.
- Attend workshops and meetings with cross-functional and business teams to map and design global, interim and localisation processes for your area.
- Design and document new business processes, including end-to-end process flows, supporting the downstream SOPs, and related deployment activities.
- Utilise in-house BPM software to model processes.
- Train and coach process excellence capabilities and use of business process tooling.
Essential for the role:
- Experience in end-to-end process management within large scale ERP or enterprise transformation programmes (design, build, test, deployment, stabilisation).
- Strong hands-on background in process mapping/modelling, able to critically assess and uplift process quality.
- Demonstrated capability as a facilitator, comfortable leading sessions with business process experts, technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in process improvement / continuous improvement, including data-based assessment of adherence and performance, applying Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to act as the central connector between enterprise process owners, deployment and local markets.
- Practical exposure to SAP S/4HANA, ERP change programmes or other system/technology based projects.
- Experience of using or managing BPM applications.
Desirable for the role:
- Experience in providing training and coaching.
- Experience of working with risk, controls or audit.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above).
- Experience working in Supply Chain and Data environments.
- Strong excel skills (data analysis & insight, pivot tables and vlookups).
