Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a RPA Developer based in Shropshire for an initial 6 month contract.
We are seeking an experienced NICE RPA Developer with a minimum of 3 years' hands-on NICE RPA development experience to join a multi-disciplinary Agile delivery team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting enterprise-grade automation solutions using the NICE RPA. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA and Live Service teams to deliver robust and scalable automation solutions that improve business efficiency, reduce manual effort and support strategic digital transformation objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering NICE RPA automations into production environments and will be comfortable working across the full software delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain automation solutions using NICE Automation Studio.
- Translate business requirements and process designs into scalable and supportable automation workflows.
- Develop reusable automation components and framework assets to accelerate delivery and maintain consistency.
- Integrate NICE automations with APIs, databases, web applications and enterprise systems.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, support guides and deployment artefacts.
- Work with QA teams to support automated and manual testing activities.
- Support automation deployments through development, test and production environments.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, providing second-line support where required.
- Collaborate with architects and platform teams to ensure solutions align with security, governance and operational standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks, standards and development practices.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing NICE RPA solutions.
- Strong experience with NICE Automation Studio.
- Proficient in JavaScript development, with experience creating, maintaining and troubleshooting scripts used within NICE APA automation solutions.
- Experience delivering automation solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
- Proven experience integrating automation solutions with REST APIs, web services and enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of exception handling, logging, monitoring and supportable automation design.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum delivery teams.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, version control and CI/CD principles.
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
