SAP Business ByDesign Specialist
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced SAP Business ByDesign (ByD) Specialist to join our client on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will lead a review of the client’s current SAP ByDesign set-up, assessing configuration, licensing, and business processes to identify improvements, cost savings, and optimisation opportunities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working with SAP Business ByDesign in a functional or techno-functional capacity
* Strong background in system configuration, data management, and process optimisation within SAP ByD
* Demonstrable experience conducting system reviews and health checks, with a focus on improving efficiency and reducing costs
* Solid understanding of licensing models and strategies to optimise license usage
* Strong finance and/or supply chain process knowledge, with the ability to map business needs to system capabilities
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and provide guidance at both technical and business process levels
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities:
* Conduct a comprehensive review of the client’s SAP ByDesign set-up, including configuration, processes, and licensing
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance usability, and reduce licensing costs
* Produce clear recommendations and an implementation roadmap for system optimisation
* Provide ad hoc support for changes to data, system settings, and configuration
* Advise on best practice for SAP ByD governance and ongoing maintenance
* Act as a trusted advisor to the business

* Duration and workload: Depending on how long review will take - Part-time / Ad hoc
