Azure Virtual Desktop Project Manager

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Azure Virtual Desktop Project Manager based in London on a Hybrid basis for an initial 6 month contract.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to lead the successful planning and execution of an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) migration project.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for the AVD migration initiative, Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and status reports, Manage stakeholder expectations, coordinate user communications, Ensure compliance with organizational security, compliance, and change management policies.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in IT infrastructure or cloud migration projects.
• Proven track record of managing end-to-end VDI or desktop migration projects (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, or AVD).
• Solid understanding of Azure services, AVD components, networking, identity (Entra ID), and application delivery.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
