Azure Data Analyst

Whitehall Resources are looking for an Azure Data Analyst. This role is hybrid working, requiring one day per week onsite in Windsor and the rest remote working, for an initial 6 month contract.

Job Description:

• Interpret large, complex data sets and produce meaningful insights
• Gathering data from various sources within the Azure ecosystem, ensuring data quality, and transforming it for analysis
• Designing and building data models to support analysis and reporting needs.
• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout its lifecycle.
• Working with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights.
• Identifying and addressing issues related to data quality, accessibility, and analysis.

Skill and Knowledge:

* Strong ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and draw conclusions.
* Understanding on Energy Utility domain, Smart Meter process knowledge
* Proficiency in statistical methods and techniques for data analysis.
* Experience in designing and building data models.
* Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
* Knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data in Azure databases.
* Understanding of Azure services like Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
* Strong ability to identify and resolve data-related issues

Experience:

• 15+ years of total IT experience and must have experience in Energy Utilities domain in Smart Metering projects
• 10+ Years Data Analyst experience in MS Azure platform
