Whitehall Resources are currently seeking an AWS Engineer for an initial 5-month contract in London, working 2-3 days a week onsite .

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop resilient service-oriented architecture using AWS primitives.
- Design RESTful APIs with AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and other AWS services.
- Manage and optimize cloud solutions using AWS services like S3, IAM, Athena, Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, SageMaker, SQS, and others.
- Create and maintain Terraform configurations for automating AWS infrastructure deployment.
- Work on the integration layer above the metadata repositories for the One Bank Data Quality service.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Experience in developing resilient service-oriented architectures with AWS primitives.
- Extensive experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Knowledge of data engineering tools such as Spark and Python is a plus.
- Experience with AWS Lambda for serverless applications.
- Proficiency in core AWS services including S3, IAM, Athena, Aurora, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, EUP, Glue, Secrets Manager, SQS, and SageMaker (good to have).
