Our client is a successful, specialist chemical distribution company representing a range of leading chemical companies from across Europe, the US and Asia. They market and supply chemicals ranging from catalysts and molecular sieves to polymers, rheology modifiers and special effect pigments. Their customer base comprises manufacturers of coatings, construction chemicals and polymers as well as producers of cosmetics, toiletries and agrochemicals.
For this challenging and rewarding position, they are looking to recruit a science graduate with a background in chemistry or a related subject (2:1 minimum and/or MSc or PhD) who would like to apply their technical training and laboratory background in a commercial environment. Following comprehensive training in the technical as well as commercial aspects of the role, the main responsibilities will be:
- Identifying and gaining new business in their Health & Nutrition, Household and Agrochemical Business Unit
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with our business partners
- Setting priorities and keeping track of customer projects
- Working closely with Internal Support and other members of the Sales Team
Our client has an outstanding track record of training and developing their employees. The position will be based at their Midlands office but will ultimately involve extensive UK and some international travel. This is an excellent career opportunity for the right candidate with an attractive salary and benefit package including a company car.
