Our Client is the leading specialist distributor of cold applied road marking, road repair and reinstatement. They are growing their R&D team and are seeking a Product and Training Engineer who will support their current and ‘in development’ projects. This is a hands-on role where the individual will collaborate across all stakeholders, focused on different line marking technologies, machines and applications as well as cold applied road/surface repair and reinstatement systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Run product demos and client presentations related to Product Development
  • Train Clients on the correct application of materials and specialist spray machines
  • Carrying out market research for development opportunities
  • Carrying out competitive product analysis
  • Sourcing product/solution options and partners
  • Collaborating with labs & universities for development work
  • Undertaking practical testing & prototyping of products
  • Attending and supporting on-site testing
  • Reporting on testing completed
  • Technical data sheet creation
  • Travel in the UK and Europe which may be during unsocial hours.

Candidate Profile:

  • Appropriate degree/post graduate degree in a subject relevant to industrial paints, chemicals or civil engineering materials.
  • Consideration given to those without a degree who has significant experience in spray equipment, application and demonstrations, spray manager etc.

Benefits Package:

  • Working hours are 7:30am-4:30pm, 22 days holiday, salary dependant on experience.
