Our Client is a distributor of specialty chemicals to high-growth sectors such as aerospace, defence, transportation and renewable energy. They are seeking a Sales Manager to sell raw materials to manufacturers that are producing composites and advanced materials, as opposed to supplying the completed product. Consideration will be given to those in a technical role (chemist or technical services) who have a sound knowledge of advanced materials or composites.
Responsibilities:
- Achievement of budget and KPI’s as set on an annual basis.
- Management of key accounts by providing excellent commercial and technical awareness.
- Business development by generating growth through customer acquisition, product acquisition and identifying new products for existing and new markets/applications.
- Recording of customer data and interactions within a CRM System.
- Responsible for regular customer visits within their territory (but sometimes other geographies where applicable) with prompt reporting.
- Responsible for working closely with the Company’s Principals, to provide the highest levels of service and representation.
- Accurate reporting of sales figures and opportunity pipeline to senior management.
- Future opportunities to take on Product Management responsibilities.
- Representation of the company at trade events.
- Work closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure the highest standards of customer care.
