Lead a multi-site commissioning project – 2 years FTC. Based in Croydon with travel to Holland and Germany. The experienced Electrical Engineer will manage a multi-site relocation and commissioning project across the UK and Continental Europe. As the Electrical Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the relocation and commissioning of specialised slitting machinery from the current facility in Holland to either Germany or Wales. The Electrical Engineer will assist in the setup of a brand-new manufacturing line(s) which will require deep technical expertise, meticulous international planning and hands-on execution. If you are an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to embark on a 2-year fixed-term contract, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Spend an initial period working closely with the team in the Netherlands to become the expert on the machinery, technical documentation and production processes.
- The successful candidate will work with the Project Engineer, assisting with coordinating complex international logistics, tracking technical timelines and providing direct status reports to the Group MD.
- The successful candidate will assist in the installation, technical commissioning and validation of the new production line(s) in the assigned location(s).
