Our client is a well established manufacturer within the decorative, industrial paints and wood polishes industry. They wish to recruit a Colour Technician to oversee colour matching operations. Reporting to the Production Manager and liaising closely with the Warehouse staff, other Colour QC Technicians and Production Staff, the successful candidate will have specific responsibility for managing the colour matching for special orders and standard colours.
Key Responsibilities
- Use water based products and mixing
- Colour identification, colour match as per order requirements
- Complete quality check sheet
- Maintain own workspace to recognised housekeeping standards
- Contribute to team discussions to ensure the smooth running of the department
- High efficiency is essential and all work must be completed to the required standard every time.
You must be a team player who can produce a high quality of workmanship and previous experience is preferable but not essential.
Experience Requirements
- Previous colour matching and manufacturing experience is desirable
- Previous experience with tinting machines is preferable
