Our client is a leader in the industrial adhesive market with a full range of established performance adhesives; aqueous and hot melt products into the packaging, print and product assembly markets, and the ability to tailor-make and fine-tune adhesives to exactly match customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Selling a leading range of aqueous & hot melt adhesives to various markets including print and product assembly, end of line packaging and corrugated.
- The role will be split equally between driving new business, growing revenue from existing accounts and the management of those established accounts.
- To meet and strive to exceed agreed annual sales budget.
- To generate growth in sales volume with a mix in line with the company's product priorities at margins that reflect the company's requirements with a professionalism in selling the quality of the product.
- To secure repeat business from satisfied customers.
- To establish new customers within strategic market segments taking advantage of the company's promotional activity and referrals from existing customers.
- To report on current and potential customer and product needs and problems and the current and emergent activity of competition.
- To carry out duties in an ethical and professional manner at all times and have due regard for confidential information acquired on customer premises or elsewhere.
- To maintain strong relationships with OEMs.
- To become more skilled in all aspects of adhesives and application technology.
- To keep abreast of new and improved sales and marketing skills.
- To interact with other sales representatives and colleagues.
- To actively look for sales leads.
- To attend sales meetings in a positive manner and plan one's own contribution.
- To assist in obtaining payment from customers when required and give suitable feedback on any financial changes.
