The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.

Whitehall Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, organised person to help with the management of the school lunchtime period. The role will require someone who can engage with children from the age of 4 to 11 in a positive friendly manner, assisting in the management of the school lunch rooms and proactively leading games and activities in the playground.

The duties of the role include:

  • Ensuring that the lunch rota is staffed appropriately (making changes to accommodate absences)
  • Ensuring that equipment for lunchtime is set up, both in lunch rooms and outside in the playground
  • Taking a strong leading role in ensuring that games and activities in the playground are appropriate, inclusive and engaging, and implementing planned improvements
  • Supervising children whilst they eat their packed lunch and school lunches
  • Assisting in clearing all equipment away at the end of the lunch period

Whitehall Primary is a popular and community-centred school. We have a lovely school community with enthusiastic, thoughtful children and supportive parents. We are looking to appoint someone to join our team who is dedicated to contributing towards our ethos of inclusion and equalities, particularly for our most vulnerable children.

Hours: 11:00 – 14:00 Monday to Friday
