Whitehall Garden Centre is a family run and award winning business. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a Patisserie Chef at our Lacock Garden Centre near Chippenham. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating high quality pastries, cakes and desserts, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential.

Your days of work will include working 4 days between Monday to Friday and alternate weekends, no split shifts. Bank Holidays are required.

Patisserie Chef Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to organise and run your own pastry section within the kitchen.
  • Create high-quality pastries, desserts and cakes with excellent decoration skills and attention to detail.
  • Training junior members of staff.
  • Stock control and compliance, managing stock and minimising waste.
  • You will need to show great communication skills.
  • Ensuring Company standards and specifications are met and maintained at all times.
  • Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and food preparation guidelines.
  • Previous experience in a similar kitchen environment required.
