An exciting seasonal opportunity has arisen within our Lacock Garden Centre to be part of an inspirational team as a Gift Department Assistant. The ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Full time shift including working every other weekend and a day off in the week.
Gifts Department Assistant responsibilities:- Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance.
- Experience in merchandising would be an advantage.
- Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently.
- Working to deadlines and managing time effectively.
- Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action.
- Maintaining good, up-to-date knowledge of the layout of the centre.
- Excellent standard of housekeeping is established and maintained in accordance with company guidelines.
- Ensure personal compliance with Whitehalls H&S guideline.
- Packing of goods is carried out in a professional manner taking care not to damage items.
- Maintains a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers and third parties.
- Trolleys and baskets always available.
- Assisting in booking in stock deliveries, putting out stock, and pricing. Attention to detail and good accuracy required.
