Our client, a global leader in legal information, analytics, and technology, is seeking a senior corporate lawyer to step into a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of law, content, and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to move beyond traditional fee-earning work into a strategic, leadership-driven position, shaping how corporate law is interpreted, structured, and delivered to a global audience.
The Role
As Head of UK Corporate Practice Area, you will lead the development and execution of the corporate legal content strategy, ensuring delivery of high-quality, commercially relevant guidance aligned with market needs. You will manage a team of experienced Professional Support Lawyers (PSLs) and collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams to drive innovation and customer value. This role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys mentoring, shaping ideas, and influencing the broader legal landscape, rather than purely executing transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve UK Corporate law content strategy
- Oversee creation of high-quality, practical legal guidance
- Manage and develop a team of PSLs, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Partner cross-functionally to support product innovation and AI-driven initiatives
- Engage with clients and market stakeholders to inform content direction
- Support commercial growth and product positioning

Candidate Profile
- UK-qualified lawyer with strong corporate law experience (8–10+ PQE)
- Background in: Private practice (Senior Associate / Of Counsel), or In-house corporate legal roles
- Demonstrated experience in: Mentoring / training, Knowledge sharing / thought leadership
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
- Interest in legal tech, innovation, and AI-driven solutions
