Requirements
- Knowledge & Expertise
- Market types: primary (IPO, SPO) and secondary (exchange trading).
- Trade execution models: DMA, Omnibus account, Agency model, Principal model.
- KYC/AML policies and international compliance standards.
- Risk types in brokerage relations: execution, credit, operational, regulatory.
- Financial and product aspects: commission structures, minimum trade volumes, instrument restrictions, market data costs, trading hours limitations.
- Fundamentals of SLA and vendor performance management.
- International regulatory frameworks (SEC, FCA, ESMA, MiFID II, ASIC, etc.).
- Familiarity with exchange connectivity standards (e.g., FIX protocol, market data feeds).
- Skills & Capabilities
- Proven experience in building and scaling stock or financial products at an international level.
- Strong business acumen: ability to evaluate ROI, cost–benefit, and long-term market positioning.

- Strategic Leadership
- Define the business case for broker engagement (new markets, client growth, competitive edge).
- Align and approve the operating model: DMA, omnibus, agency, or principal.
- Approve product scope: which stocks, which markets, and trading hours.
- Broker Selection & Partnerships
- Lead broker search and due diligence (licenses, reputation).
- Drive commercial negotiations: commissions, SLA, volumes, penalties.
- Integration Management
- Align integration roadmap with brokers and internal teams (IT, Product, Compliance).
- Oversee technical integration (APIs, trading engine compatibility).
- Regulatory & Legal Compliance
- Ensure compliance with KYC/AML standards and reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external legal teams to align processes.
- Approve and oversee risk management policies (trade limits, backup broker strategy).
- Monitor credit, operational, and reputational risks.
- Keep internal stakeholders informed and aligned on project progress.
