As the company continues to expand, we are looking for an energetic individual with a basic understanding of betting processes to join our Operations team in our London office. The successful applicant will have a love of data, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach that will assist our team in achieving their targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing day-to-day operational tasks within a sports betting focused team.
  • Recording and analysing live betting and transactional data, ensuring consistency across our data sources.
  • Investigating discrepancies between actual and recorded data.
  • Supporting the team in resolving and settling betting markets.
  • Ensure the wider team has a good understanding of the accuracy and completeness of the data available and be able to communicate any issues concisely and efficiently.
  • Communicate with both internal and external third parties to resolve discrepancies in recorded data.
  • Effectively utilise and handle funds to increase betting capacity.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • A working knowledge of Excel; understanding of lookups, sumifs, import ranges and other functional formulae a bonus.
  • Comfortable working with multiple types of (sometimes unstructured) spreadsheets.
  • Experience with data inputting, either in employment or education a big plus.
  • A focused and diligent work ethic under pressure.
  • Organised and proactive with the ability to work to short deadlines and adhere to strict operational processes.
  • Ability to balance a variety of tasks at once, managing time proficiently.
  • A logical approach to work and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working 5 days per week in the office.
  • Knowledge of football betting markets and operators.
  • Experience with cryptocurrency (preferred).
  • Willingness to work irregular shift patterns (including weekends).
