About the Role
The Buying Admin Assistant (BAA) will support the Menswear buying team, manage product ranges and oversee the department’s critical path to meet key deadlines.
Primary Objectives
With a keen eye for detail and accuracy, you will manage the development and production critical paths, ensuring all deadlines are met and maintaining the White Stuff brand vision.
Responsibilities
- Provide full administrative support to the Buying Team
- Take ownership of the department’s critical path; coordinate with suppliers to meet key dates
- Collaborate with internal and external functions such as Merchandising, Design, Garment Techs, Creative, Verifiable Metrics and Suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers to manage fit sessions, arrange samples and deliver fit comments
- Collate, organise and communicate daily approvals and comments to suppliers
- Log, organise and track all samples from concept through production stages
- Assist with Monday Trade meeting preparation, including basic trade reports and action items
- Prepare product reviews and sign‑offs, ensuring samples arrive on time and are set up correctly
- Conduct comparative shop reports to maintain knowledge of current market trends
- Send out courier packages
Qualifications
- Passion for product and keen interest in menswear categories
- Strong multitasking ability and independence in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
- Outstanding time‑management, communication and organisational skills
- Understanding of the buying cycle and critical‑path processes
- PC literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Positive can‑do attitude towards new challenges
