I’m really excited to be working with a leading international architectural practice that is currently exploring the opportunity to establish a new office in Newcastle city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Design Manager to essentially be part of something from the very beginning helping shape the practice’s presence in the region while taking a senior role across projects, teams and client relationships.

We’re looking for someone with strong design and technical knowledge, who is confident leading multiple projects and teams and working closely with clients, consultants and wider project stakeholders.

The role:

  • Senior leadership opportunity as the Newcastle presence develops
  • Lead and manage multiple projects and project teams
  • Client-facing role with responsibility across project stages
  • Strong understanding of design delivery, construction and contracts
  • Experience working on medium to large-scale complex projects
  • High-tech, process-driven or industrial sector experience highly desirable
  • 10+ years’ experience within the UK construction sector
  • Revit skills advantageous but not essential
  • Architectural, Architectural Technology or Engineering background desirable
