I am looking for a Senior Architectural Technician or Technical Architect to join the growing healthcare team for a longstanding client.

The Client

A multidisciplinary consultancy of approx. 70-80 people, bringing together a highly professional multi-disciplinary approach to all their projects. The architecture team is at the heart of what they do, with a strong and expanding specialism in healthcare. They work directly with:

  • NHS Trusts (community, acute & mental health)
  • Private healthcare providers (including private healthcare clinics)

Projects typically range up to £10m, with exciting opportunities to contribute to larger £20m–£30m schemes.

The Role

This is a hands-on, technical delivery role where you’ll play a key part in making sure all projects are:

  • Well detailed
  • Buildable
  • Technically robust

You’ll be trusted to take the lead on technical packages and help drive high standards across the team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Producing high-quality construction information (1:5 / 1:10 details)
  • Leading delivery across RIBA Stages 4–6
  • Coordinating closely with in-house engineers & PD specialists
  • Collaborating with contractors and consultants to solve technical challenges
  • Reviewing and elevating drawing quality and standards
  • Supporting delivery on-site during construction

  • Experienced Architectural Technician or Technical Architect
  • Strong background in technical detailing & construction drawings
  • Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations
  • Revit proficiency (essential)
  • Ideally, experience in healthcare or complex/regulated sectors (beneficial)
  • Detail-driven, collaborative, and solutions-focused
