Senior Design Manager | Newcastle City Centre | New Office Opportunity

I'm really excited to be working with a leading international architectural practice that is currently exploring the opportunity to establish a new office in Newcastle city centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Design Manager to essentially be part of something from the very beginning helping shape the practice's presence in the region while taking a senior role across projects, teams and client relationships.

We're looking for someone with strong design and technical knowledge, who is confident leading multiple projects and teams and working closely with clients, consultants and wider project stakeholders.

The role:

Senior leadership opportunity as the Newcastle presence develops

Lead and manage multiple projects and project teams

Client-facing role with responsibility across project stages

Strong understanding of design delivery, construction and contracts

Experience working on medium to large-scale complex projects

High-tech, process-driven or industrial sector experience highly desirable

10+ years' experience within the UK construction sector

Revit skills advantageous but not essential

Architectural, Architectural Technology or Engineering background desirable

This is a really exciting opportunity to join an international practice at the potential beginning of a new chapter in Newcastle, with the chance to play a key role in shaping what that presence could look like.
