A large multi-disciplinary practice is looking for a talented and experienced Mid Weight Interior Designer in their West London studio. This practice offers design services from concept through to technical design and works on site. They have a number of high profile projects in the United Kingdom and around the world including Asia and the Middle East.
Working closely with Architects and wider design teams, they design interiors that complement the architectural design and exceed client expectations. They are a friendly team that supports each other in projects.
The successful candidate must have an interest in residential interiors and already have a working knowledge of the different design stages. Experience in designing is essential, along with a high-end knowledge of FF&E design and Autocad skills. This role will involve assisting with the development of ideas, the production of drawings, documentation, and FF&E schedules.
Candidates must have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an interior design role
- Proficient user of Autocad
- Proficient in Sketchup, InDesign, Photoshop & Microsoft Office
- An eye for sketching would be advantageous
- Highly organised with a flair for design and creativity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well in a team
