I’m currently working with a large, globally recognised design studio to appoint a People Manager for their London office. This is a key hire for the business, someone who can operate as a true partner to leadership while owning and delivering impactful People initiatives across the full employee lifecycle.

Based in a vibrant London studio of 140+ staff, you’ll work closely with international teams across Copenhagen, Barcelona, and New York, while also supporting smaller offices in Riyadh and the UAE.

The role:

  • You’ll report directly to the Managing Director, line manage a People Assistant, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership balancing both strategic input and hands-on delivery.

Key focus areas include:

  • Leading People strategy aligned to business goals
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle
  • Handling employee relations in line with best practice and ACAS guidelines
  • Overseeing compliance across UK employment & immigration law
  • Driving L&D initiatives and employee engagement
  • Managing People data, metrics, and budgets
  • Supporting global People initiatives across multiple regions

About you:

  • Proven experience in a People/HR generalist role (ideally in a creative environment)
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law (UAE/KSA exposure a bonus)
  • Data driven with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Highly organised, approachable, and confident communicator
