Creative Support Recruiter | Architecture & Design

We are working with a well-established architecture and design practice based in West Sussex, which is looking for an Interior Designer to join their team. This position is for a Junior or Midweight designer who has experience within and a passion for the hospitality sector, to help work on projects both small and large.

The Role

• Produce presentations, mood boards, and technical drawing packages.
• Collaborate with the project team, consultants, and suppliers.
• Attend client meetings and conduct site visits as needed.
• Specify materials and FF&E, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage project deadlines and contribute to a positive team environment.

The Candidate

• A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience with a BA (Hons) or MA in Interior Architecture (or equivalent).
• A proven portfolio showcasing high-quality hospitality work, demonstrating both creative design and technical ability.
• Strong technical drawing skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop; hand-sketching skills are a bonus.
• Excellent design, presentation, conceptual thinking, and visualisation capabilities.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment and delivering to tight deadlines.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with clear and confident communication skills.
• A motivated, enthusiastic team player with a collaborative approach.
• Solid knowledge of materials and their applications, along with a good understanding of building regulations.
• On-site experience is advantageous but not essential.
