Our client is an award-winning architecture practice renowned for its architecture, urban design, landscape and interior design. They are now looking to acquire the services of a Graphic Designer to join their collaborative marketing team. This role will involve maintaining the existing marketing collateral within the business and the design of any external documents, alongside supporting the business with developing a new website and new material. They are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who has previously worked within either an interior design or architecture practice. Experience in using Affinity and/or Adobe would be highly desirable.
The Role
- To coordinate and maintain the company's ‘Brand Identity Guidelines’ and associated practice-wide templates and ensure consistent output across all teams, divisions and companies.
- To coordinate, design and maintain the practice’s brand collateral, both printed and digital, for all divisions and companies, including E-brochures, Case studies, Presentations, Digital letterheads and cards, Master presentations/portfolios, Document and presentation templates, CVS, Project sheets and post-occupancy reports.
- To coordinate and maintain content for a website in conjunction with the Communications Coordinator.
- To coordinate and maintain all letterhead stationery.
- To oversee the upkeep of the company's Image Library.
- To assist project teams in preparing, formatting and proofreading key reports and exhibition material when required.
- To assist in the production of thought pieces aligned to thematic campaigns intended to promote the brand's identity.
- To assist with the production of tenders, bids and RFP submissions with graphic material.
- To coordinate all photography and filming.
- To assist the Directors in achieving the objectives of the Business Plan and Tactical Marketing Plan.
- To coordinate design for all award submissions in conjunction with the Communications Coordinator.
- To assist with reading marketing collateral when required.
- To work with Directors to promote the company externally and attend relevant events.
- To assist project teams in proof-reading key reports and exhibition material when required.
- To work with the Quality Manager to ensure ISO 9001 and 14001 procedures are complied with.
- To complete ad hoc admin tasks, including occasional Front of House cover.
- To ensure general conformance with all related aspects of the Integrated Management System.
The Candidate
- Strong self-management, initiative, and a sense of responsibility.
- Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably within the architecture and design industry.
- Excellent graphic communication skills and a great eye for detail and consistency.
- Experience in graphic and freehand illustration would be beneficial.
- Experience in website design and software, including WordPress and Squarespace.
- Relevant experience in graphic design software, including Affinity & Adobe suites, OpenAsset: digital asset management software, as well as Microsoft 365 applications.
