Our client is an international interior design and architecture agency specialising in retail and hospitality. They are looking for two Business Development Managers to join the business, working closely with the company to expand their global presence. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building and maintaining client relationships internationally. They are looking for someone with experience in the industry who already has some existing connections to build on.
The Role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned regions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Develop tailored strategies to enter new markets and expand existing client portfolios.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless handover from business development to project delivery.
- Represent at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Travel internationally as required to meet clients and support business growth.
- Work flexibly on at least two days per week to align with international time zones.
The Candidate
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role, ideally within the design or construction sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close deals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with international clients or in global markets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven with a strategic mindset.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
- Knowledge of retail design, construction, or fit-out industries.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline.
- Ability to speak an additional language (advantageous but not essential).
