Our client is an award-winning architecture practice renowned for its architecture, urban design, landscape and interior design based in South West London. They are now looking to acquire the services of a Business Development & Bid Manager/Coordinator to join their collaborative marketing team. This role is a maternity cover on a 13-month fixed-term contract.
The Role:
- Oversee content and project information for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), pitches, bids, and ITT/PQQ submissions.
- Manage tender and contract platforms, keeping Directors and Associate Directors informed of relevant opportunities.
- Record and track feedback from all EOIs, pitches, bids, and ITT/PQQs for review in Management Meetings.
- Support Directors in delivering the goals outlined in the Business Plan and Tactical Marketing Plan.
- Collaborate with Directors and Associate Directors to implement Business Development strategies across new sectors and services.
- Manage and update Business Development activities using the CRM system within the MIS.
- Maintain the client target list in the CRM and lead monthly Business Development meetings with senior leadership.
- Support the promotion of Assael externally by working with Directors and attending key industry events.
- Assist the Marketing Manager with seminars, lectures, client entertainment, external event planning, calendar management, and budget tracking.
- Support the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral as needed.
- Coordinate with external partners to foster collaborative research initiatives.
- Work alongside the Quality Manager to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant processes within the Assael Integrated Management System.
The Candidate:
- Experience working within the architecture/construction/interiors industry.
- Experience working within Bids or similar.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
- Happy to work a 13-month contract.
- Willing to learn and develop within the role.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Great communication skills.
