BIM Manager needed for UK wide architectural practice – various locations will be considered
This RIBA chartered, award-winning architectural studio established for more than 60 years, is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking BIM Manager to lead and evolve their Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across all project stages and teams.
They deliver innovative, sustainable, and high-quality design solutions across a diverse portfolio, including residential, healthcare, transport, education, commercial, industrial, and urban design sectors.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop & Implement BIM Standards: Maintain and enhance BIM protocols, templates, and workflows aligned with industry standards.
- Project BIM Coordination: Manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), ensuring model integrity and collaborative workflows.
- Model Quality Assurance: Conduct audits, clash detections, and quality control reviews.
- Training & Support: Provide hands-on BIM training and mentorship to project teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless digital coordination.
- Technology Management: Evaluate and implement new digital tools to enhance project delivery.
- Reporting: Produce BIM progress reports and manage data deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
What they\’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a BIM Manager or Senior BIM Coordinator in an architectural or multidisciplinary practice.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360).
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead BIM strategies on large-scale, technically complex projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with data management tools is a plus.
