Overview
Architect or Part II Assistant (High-End Residential) – boutique architectural design practice known for delivering complex high-end residential schemes. Based in Warwickshire, the studio is growing and has partnered with White Space Recruitment to find experienced Part II Architectural Assistants (looking to gain Part 3) and Architects who want broader exposure across the full design and build lifecycle.
Working full-time from their purpose-built open plan studio in central Warwickshire, successful candidates will join an inspiring team where the USP is a collaborative, learning-focused environment that nurtures staff and provides exposure across the full project life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Gain full project exposure from initial planning and concept design through contract negotiations and client engagement, right through to driving the build process onsite.
- Work on typical projects including single high-end new build residential dwellings (£3M-£12M), small exclusive housing developments, large bespoke extensions or conversions (sometimes involving listed buildings or heritage works), as well as commercial offices and education/leisure/sports facilities.
- Collaborate within an established team and contribute to projects that are often complex due to site restrictions, greenbelt/conservation considerations, or innovative design challenges.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of working on most RIBA stages.
- Proficiency in Vectorworks or AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suite.
