Our successful planning team is now looking to appoint a Senior Planner to work alongside our existing Chartered Planners and our Commercial, Rural and Land and New Homes Teams as well as our Estate Agents. We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Planner to join the growing planning team. This role offers the opportunity to work on and manage a diverse portfolio of projects, from small to strategic-sized schemes as well as business development. The role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression and experience within a long established and diverse company. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage pre-application, planning applications and appeals processes across multiple projects, including management of external planning consultants and specialist advisors where required Advising internal teams and clients on planning strategy, development opportunities and planning risks Assess development opportunities and planning risks during site acquisition and feasibility stages Monitor planning policy changes, local plans, and legislative updates relevant to the business portfolio Represent the company at planning committees, public consultations, and stakeholder meetings Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, planning officers, consultants, and external stakeholders Contribute to the overall growth strategy of the business through proactive planning insight and market awareness.
