The predicted salary is between 22000 - 33000 £ per year.
Pay: £27,500 per year (this will increase in April 2026 in line with our pay review)
Role: Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week to be worked over five days out of seven on a rota basis

Aegis is a UK registered charity that aims to prevent prejudice and resolve hate-fuelled violence and mass atrocities through peace-building programmes in communities worldwide. White Rose supports Aegis by selling handpicked, high-quality, pre-loved fashion and accessories in our stores across Nottingham, Beeston, West Bridgford, Newark, Manchester, Sheffield, Derby, Leicester and Leeds.

What you'll be doing:
- Driving the Business: Knowing your local marketplace and able to take personal responsibility for driving the day-to-day performance of the store. Have a high level of visual merchandising skills to continually raise the standard of the store presentation to drive footfall and sales.
- Customer Focus: Ensure everything you and your team do puts the customer first. You'll coach the team on what great customer service looks like. Passionately promote our brand through your community, customer base and store social platforms.
- Leading & Inspiring the Team: Able to provide coaching to the team by demonstrating flexibility with leadership style.
- Manage the Operation: To keep the store compliant with legislation, H&S and company procedures, ensure the store is safe and a great experience for all. Build strong partnerships - communicate effectively with all departments, including stock to store functions to ensure right stock, right place, right time.
- Promote sustainability and our charity The Aegis Trust: Ensuring the store is utilised fully to promote the charity to all colleagues, volunteers and customers through effective communication, using your own passion and empathy for the cause.
What you'll bring:
- Previous experience in a retail management role, ideally fashion.
- Experience in people management, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team including volunteers.
- A resilient, positive, self-motivator, driven to achieve sales targets.
- A passion for fashion, brands, and trends.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to coach this in others.
- A creative flair for fashion visual merchandising.
- The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people at all levels.
- A confident leader, that uses initiative, operates with integrity and role models the right behaviours.
