A well-established company based in the Heanor area are looking for an R&D Electronics engineer to join their business on a permanent basis. The role is a brilliant chance to join a great team in their Research and Development department. This will involve reverse engineering products to identify causes for hardware and software failures and creating efficient solutions.
Your day to day will involve:
- Testing electronic circuits by simulating vehicle loads and signals
- Reverse engineering electronic circuits to find root causes of failures
- Rebuild solutions for electronic hardware and software failures
- Create technical documentation
We are looking for an individual with:
- Experience in circuit analysis.
- Previous experience fault finding to component level and PCB rework methods.
- Ability to work from wiring diagrams
- Automotive experience is beneficial but not essential
