The predicted salary is between 40000 - 55000 £ per year.
Permanent, full-time role £40,000 to £55,000 (full time equivalent) dependent on experience. Hybrid role: 2 days home working and 3 days in our offices across Halifax, HX2 and Leeds, LS11.
An exciting opportunity has arisen working in our specialist science team. We are now looking for a creative, self‑motivated, dynamic, passionate and driven individual who literally wants to help us take on the world!
Key responsibilities
- Produce high‑quality materials that support the White Rose Science curriculum.
- Support the teaching of science in primary provision through high‑quality, effective CPD and working with primary school leaders.
- Work with individual teachers to improve their performance.
- Work with school leaders to audit requirements, provision and plan for improvements.
- Support and advise primary schools with effective implementation of the White Rose Science curriculum.
- Support any other reasonable requests, working with other partners as appropriate.
Other key accountabilities
- Contribute toward the development of the White Rose Science curriculum and supporting resources.
- Design, develop and deliver inspiring and innovative CPD programmes in line with our values and teaching principles.
- Assist in the implementation of the White Rose Science curriculum by providing specialist guidance and support.
- Role‑model and demonstrate outstanding teaching and learning.
- Deliver school improvement programmes as appropriate (e.g., coaching and mentoring, target setting, observations, learning walks, science audits).
- Actively monitor and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant education policy, developments, research and initiatives.
- Support the development and enhancement of science in primary provision across Trinity Multi Academy Trust and other clients.
- Actively participate in performance management reviews.
Essentials
- Hold QTS and have passed the Early Career Teacher (ECT) requirement.
- Evidence of effective teaching and performance within your area of specialism (Primary Science).
- Educated to degree level with an excellent track record of recent, relevant professional development.
- Accountability for the performance of a cohort of young people.
- Strong ability to inspire confidence in staff, students, parents and others.
- High standards, role‑modeling, commitment to personal development and enjoyment of working with young people.
- Adaptability, reliability, integrity, prioritisation, planning and organisation skills.

- Experience of subject leadership in a teaching environment.
- Experience of further study.
