The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

This is a hybrid role based at White Rose Education offices in Halifax and Leeds. Two days a week in the office minimum, with flexibility for more if needed. It is a full‑time, year‑round position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and development of the White Rose English curriculum and associated resources.
  • Produce high‑quality materials that support the curriculum.
  • Deliver effective CPD for primary teachers and assist primary school leaders.
  • Coach teachers to improve practice in English and audit schools to plan improvements.
  • Advise schools on implementation of the White Rose English curriculum.
  • Contribute to the wider WRE core‑subject offer, including curriculum, assessment and oracy development.
  • Collaborate with partners to meet other reasonable requests.

Additional Accountabilities

  • Design, develop and deliver inspiring CPD programmes that align with our values and teaching principles.
  • Serve as a role model and demonstrate outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Lead school improvement programmes: coaching, mentoring, target setting, observations, learning walks, audits.
  • Monitor current education policy, research and initiatives.
  • Support development and enhancement of English in primary provision across the Trinity Multi Academy Trust and other clients.
  • Participate in performance management reviews.

Other duties

  • All staff must demonstrate safeguarding awareness and promote student welfare, adhere to company policies and cooperate with reasonable requests that fall within the role’s scope.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Hold QTS and have passed ECT.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Track record of recent, relevant professional development.
  • Accountability for the performance of a cohort of young people.
  • Evidence of effective teaching in primary English.

  • Further study experience.
  • Subject leadership in a teaching environment.
