Leeds City Academy is an 11-16 academy and one of four schools within White Rose Academies Trust, a national trust recognised for its transformational impact on young people. The academy achieved an overall Good judgement in a Section 5 Inspection in May 2019, with Leadership and Management judged as Outstanding.

We are seeking a committed and passionate Year Manager to support the Academy’s Strategic Plan objective of raising standards of achievement. The role reports to the Year Manager Leader and is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of pastoral care, personal development and safeguarding for students across the Academy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address attendance concerns and support students in need.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents and external agencies to ensure that no child is left behind.
  • Manage behaviour and disciplinary matters, applying the Leeds City Academy way consistently and fairly.
Compensation & Hours

Grade: SO1 (Actual Salary £30,512 to £32,22)
Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days

Accountable to: Year Manager leader
