Interaction Recruitment is the UK's fastest growing independent recruiter with offices nationwide. A fantastic opportunity has come up with our client for a full time, on-going Picker/Packer. You will be working in a large, open plan warehouse that is a very clean and friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- You will be required to pick, pack, and check quality of products in ambient, chill, and frozen chambers to prepare drivers for delivery of products whilst following H&S and food safety procedures.
- Ensure products taken in are accurately processed following standard procedures, working with peers and third-party drivers.
- Ensure correct labelling of orders/products and/or media.
- Correct use of all equipment and systems as per training and as directed.
- Ensure all goods are picked according to standards procedures and expected productive rates are achieved.
- Ensure cages/pallets/products are loaded, returned and secured based onto the correct lorry to deliver products to customers accurately.
- You do need to be physically fit as you are moving about the production floor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced busy environment.
- Attention to detail.
