The Role
As an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering white goods products to retail outlets across the UK, ensuring timely and professional service to each customer. Products will vary from laptops to washing machines and you will be required to offload these manually.
You will be delivering the products to retail stores, some of which are based in busy, high-street locations, therefore experience in driving in busy, built-up areas is essential.
What We\’re Looking For
- A valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with at least 12 months\’ recent driving experience
- A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Confident in manual handling and using tail lifts
- Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles
- Strong geographical knowledge of Yorkshire
- A clean licence or no more than 6 penalty points
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
Start times between 06:00 and 07:00
Pay Rates
£16.94 (PAYE)
OT1 – Time and a Half – £25.41 – To be applied for shifts over 8 hours and Saturdays
OT2 – Double Time – £33.87 – To be applied for Sundays and Bank Holidays
