Job Title: Goods In Operative

Contract: Permanent

Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S44 6

Salary: £26,500 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 23:30pm (40 Hrs), some flexibility available

Training: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, 3 weeks of paid training

Must be comfortable using computers. Overtime as and when required. Flexible as may be tasked to work within other areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive and offload inbound deliveries, verifying paperwork for accurate processing.
2. Assist the Quality team with inspections as needed.
3. Lifting items up to 20KG.
4. Accurately label and store goods in designated locations.
5. Conduct daily forklift (FLT) inspections.
6. Assist with stocktakes as required.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Strong ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
2. High attention to detail.
3. Proactive, self-driven, and continuously seeking improvement opportunities.
4. Working knowledge of IT systems.
5. A forklift license is advantageous.
