Class 1 Driver in City of London

Job Overview

Interaction Recruitment are partnering with Yusen Logistics to recruit LGV Class 1 Drivers based in Erith, DA18 4AF. This is a full‑time night shift position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trade supplies to depots across the UK.
• Operate a curtain‑sided vehicle and perform multiple drops each shift (3–6).
• Work nights from 17:30 to 20:00, Monday to Friday.
• No handball required; an FLT will offload you on‑site.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence with at least 12 months recent driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience driving curtain‑sided vehicles.
• Clean licence or no more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience in multi‑drop deliveries.
• Excellent customer service experience.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 17:30 – 20:00.

Pay & Overtime

• £24.47 per hour (PAYE).
• OT1 – Time and a Half – £35.10 (shifts over 9 hours and Saturday).
• OT2 – Double Time – £45.73 (Sunday and Bank Holiday).
