Join a growing freight forwarder where you can make a real impact. Freight International is an independent, ambitious and fast-growing freight forwarding company based in Bristol. With a close-knit team of just 15 people, we’re building something exciting — and we’re looking for an experienced Road Freight Operator / Coordinator to join us.

This is a hands-on role focused primarily on European Road Freight, covering both Import and Export, with some exposure to Sea Freight.

The Role

  • You’ll be responsible for coordinating shipments from start to finish, building strong relationships with customers, hauliers and overseas partners, and ensuring freight moves smoothly, efficiently and on time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing European road freight imports and exports
  • Arranging collections and deliveries with hauliers
  • Preparing and checking shipping and customs documentation
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and international partners
  • Tracking shipments and proactively resolving issues
  • Handling quotations and supporting customers with their freight requirements
  • Assisting with sea freight shipments when required

About You

We’re looking for someone with practical freight forwarding experience, ideally with a strong background in European road freight. You’ll be organised, commercially minded and confident dealing with customers and suppliers. You’ll also be someone who enjoys working in a smaller, entrepreneurial environment where your contribution genuinely matters.
