The Opportunity
This is not your typical purchasing role. As Senior Buyer, you’ll:
Own the global supply strategy for precision-machined components.
Drive innovation in sourcing and supplier development across international markets.
Negotiate competitive agreements to deliver value without compromising quality.
Lead supply chain resilience initiatives to ensure operational continuity.
You’ll operate with autonomy, collaborate closely with internal teams and suppliers worldwide, and make a real impact on our bottom line and long-term success.
What You’ll Do
Manage and optimise global commodity supply chains, ensuring OTIF performance.
Negotiate favourable pricing and terms to secure the best deals.
Develop new supplier relationships in key markets (including Asia, Europe, North America).
Analyse market trends and proactively mitigate risks.
Improve ERP data accuracy and inventory strategies for maximum efficiency.
Resolve supplier issues swiftly and effectively to maintain smooth operations.
What I’m Looking For
A commercially astute, globally minded procurement professional with:
Proven experience in international purchasing of precision-machined parts.
Strong track record of supplier negotiations and relationship management.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory optimisation.
Ability to think strategically, manage risk, and deliver innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Exposure to sourcing exotic materials.
Willingness to travel internationally when required.
