My client is looking for a CNC Service Engineer to join their team. They work as the UK partner for leading machine tool brands, supplying equipment such as vertical lathes, double‑column mills, and universal bedmills. Their engineers are central to delivering, installing, and supporting high‑end machining solutions across industries including aerospace, nuclear, automotive, and energy.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of new CNC machine tools at customer sites
  • Commissioning, testing, and optimisation of machines
  • Planned preventative maintenance and servicing
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair
  • Providing customer support, operator training, and applications advice

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working with CNC machine tools
  • Knowledge of Fanuc and/or Heidenhain control systems
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills
  • Previous experience in a field service or maintenance role
  • Customer‑focused with strong communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
