Are you an experienced European Road Freight Operator looking for your next opportunity with an established and growing logistics business? We’re working exclusively with a well-established logistics and freight business in Wythenshawe who are looking to add an experienced European Export Operator to their team. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, established operation where you’ll be working as part of a knowledgeable and supportive team, managing European export shipments from start to finish.

The Role

As a European Export Operator, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and managing export shipments across Europe, ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently and in line with customer requirements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing European export shipments from booking through to delivery
  • Arranging transport and liaising with hauliers, carriers and other suppliers
  • Preparing and checking export and customs documentation
  • Tracking shipments and keeping customers updated throughout the process
  • Dealing with any issues or delays and finding practical solutions
  • Ensuring all paperwork and systems are kept accurate and up to date
  • Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure shipments are delivered on time and to specification

About You

We’re looking for someone who already has solid experience within European road freight/export operations and understands what’s involved in managing shipments across Europe. You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a European export or road freight operations role
  • Good knowledge of the European road freight market
  • Experience dealing with hauliers, carriers and customers
  • A good understanding of export and customs documentation
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities at the same time
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who knows the European export process, can hit the ground running and enjoys working in a busy logistics environment.
